??? :?: Months was the correct choice in SIX on Wednesday in the Marathon round. Was this question aired elsewhere with weeks as the answer?

No, the thread is more like an inside joke that only the people I play with will laugh at.

To summarize, we had one guy adamant that the answer was 32 Weeks and definitely knew what a Blue Moon was, and even after the clue "January, February, March" came up, he was so sure we all switched and went down in flames.
Talking about it, we all had used the same silly justification that those 3 months must add up to 32 Weeks.
It was pretty funny, one of our better snafus.

I want to go on record as saying that I hated this question.
The term "Blue Moon" actually has a variety of slightly differing definitions.
Using the seasonal definition of "four full moons during one season", they are correct.
Using the "second full moon within a calendar month" definition, 32 weeks would probably be a much closer average. Heck, using this definition, both 1999 and 2002 had two blue moons each.
Ambiguity, thy name is buzztime... :o :D
