Posted on original scaratings July 2004 Concept: Increase points when you are sure you are right, with risk. This could very easily be implemented as a Countdown type game. Format is the same as in Countdown, but when you are sure of your entered answer, press the Gamebreaker button ala QB1 (#8 I believe). This doubles your points, but also precludes you from changing your answer (the "Lock it" part). I think it would be a blast. SCAR |

Cool idea, but I'd also add a -250 penalty for flubbing a "locked" answer. |
