I have some good news to report. For those on here who don't know Don, his website is the bible for Buzztime players as he has maintained it for over twenty years and recently has been going through a tough stretch of medical problems. He was able to go home from the hospital yesterday. He has improved somewhat but still is very sick and has to go back twice a week for the foreseeable future. He still does not want me to talk about his condition but is grateful to those who replied to my last post and is looking forward to resuming playing. I don't think that'll be soon but he is the eternal optimist and I think that is what is driving his recovery. If any change occurs for better or worse I will let you know. |

Thanks for the news about Don. I hadn't seen the other post about his health. Please wish him the best from BUD & OPIEE. Hope to see him name in the rankings soon. |

I'm a big fan of Don Denton. Despite the fact that he made his mark on the game as a player at the National West Covina, the uber-borg bar of the late '90's, he is a true ambassador of the game and of NTN. His archives are a treasure to all of us that seriously play the game and whenever he retires from being the game's historian, there's no one likely to ever replace him. Be well, Don. |
