We stumbled upon this quiet surprise for Happy Hour this week. Knuckleheads is one of the best kept secrets in Myrtle Beach. Located next to the now closed Studebakers at the corner of Kings Highway and 21st Avenue North in Myrtle Beach, the locale, which for many years was site of Chairman's Corner, offers a chill atmosphere to pop into after work or the late night hours. It pulls in a local crowd, as well as golfers and tourists. If playing games is your forte, you won't be disappointed of the assortment of bar games offered at Knuckleheads. Choose from Silver Strike, Power Putt, Megatouch, darts and pool, to name a few. You can also test your knowledge with Buzztime Trivia or test your strategy skills with Chess Challenge. A dozen bar stools sit around the bar, and a handful of high-top tables are scattered throughout the joint. You can also relax and sit on a couch near the front. Knuckleheads has a number of TVs for your viewing enjoyment. The back wall is lined with mirrors, and decorations including beer signs, license plates, snow boards and surfboards hanging on the walls. Hungry? There's burgers, cheese steaks, sandwiches, pizza, chicken strips and appetizers on the menu. If you're just looking for a snack, there's a vending machine with candy bars and chips. It also has cigarettes. Happy Hour runs weekdays from 4-7 p.m. Specials include $3 well drinks, $2.25 domestic beer bottles and $1.50 PBRs and Miller High Life. The good news - drinks only cost you 50-cents more outside of happy hour. You can always get $2 jello shots. If you're looking for a unique shot, choose from the long list that includes shooters such as Gorilla Fart, Surfer on Acid, Carrot Cake, PB & J and Silk Panties.
