Congrats to Metro out there in the wastelands for winning STC on Monday, thereby consigning 86th Street to our fourth, yes I said fourth, straight week of finishing second... to four different bars, no less. Crap... :cry:

At least I've gotten my spotes and shmekl boards synched up with the exact same average after 24 weeks of play. Beat that, Chode! :D

Another well written game overall. Scores were low so "the nation" must have regarded it is an overall fairly difficult game. I left points on the table in the 2nd round as I didnt remember that Sam Perkins started out as a Maverick, and also blew the Doug Dickey 1974 Sugar Bowl question. Was able to recover after an 8500 last round including a couple decent "educated" guesses!! Missed the last Patrick Roy question though as I have no idea what the Jennings award even is (reminds me I need to go look that up!) With a couple recent excepttions on either end of the spectrum the STC writer(s) are doing a very good job!!
