Finally i was able to play with the Side Pockets St Charles STC crew (SPCL K, SCHLEP, REALMA) at Hooters of Maryland Heights, MO and we got top spot in tonight's game. My MITAHA handle rallied in Gran Prix Round to round out the top 5 bar scores with a 21.9k. The "Last AFC two in a row runner-up" question was key in the win.

No, that question was in no way key because any team you're worried about got that fairly easy one as well. Everybody remembers The Fumble and The Drive.

From our point of view, the key was confusing Wilma Rudolph with 1956 instead of 1960 which in hindsight two of us knew. That would have put us easily into first. Woulda coulda shoulda.

But congrats to my chums for a W in a tough game.

I couldn't think through the AFC title games going backwards chronologically quickly enough to come up with the Browns.
Nailed Betty Cuthbert, though.

Corrigans has dropped Buzztime. So we moved to ESM/Lakewood, where we've already been playing on Sundays since they reHOF'd SIQ.

Corrigans will now begin sliding down the place pts. rankings, so for the record here's where we stood when the ax fell.

1) 86th St. 2,881
2) Corrigans 2,803
3) JP Shakers 2,734

Tough game Monday, congrats to Hooters.

In the spirit of full disclosure, 86th played one more game than Corrigan's so, barring an unlikely 23rd place or worse finish in that make-up game, Corrigan's would be leading the YTD points on Don Denton's site. You're a good egg for not mentioning that, but credit goes where credit is deserved.

Out of morbid curiosity, why did Corrigan's drop the axe?

It was me and the Side Pockets STC crew that finally put a Hooters on the map in a premium game since St Louis area Hooters got NTN.

Um, your post, Mitchwolf, looks like it's correcting my numbers or something. You are aware I took the numbers you've got there, and subtracted the other places' number from this last game, right? Anyway, at year end I'll add our two location's numbers together, to see where we woulda finished. After deducting 331 pts., which is what ESM had already.

Appreciate the kind words, spotes. As it happens, we did play that other week, but didn't report. I dunno why they took the game out, probably the obvious explanation. Don't think they got much play the rest of the week.
