OK....I will admit, not my home bar, but I have comment to say about this bar. My best friend Cloudy and I paid a visit to this bar tonight. It is his home bar, and I said, sure why not. After about 2 hours of regular afternoon trivia (Buzztimes and Countdowns), playing on a big projection screen, things changed. All of a sudden there was a poker match. I said HEY WAIT. I was playing trivia on that screen. The local hostest, Katie, said that Buzztime had a regular Wednesday Poker game, and this bar had it on the big screen. "Your trivia" is over on the smaller screen. In one hour, it will change back. I mention Katie's name, because she did a great job at hosting tables tonight. Sure enough, on the smaller screens was "trivia". Some pick 'em NFL game (NFL means Not For Long, when it comes to trivia events). I did sit through Speed Freaks and a part of Sci Files, while about 12 locals played Texas Hold'em. After slightly more than an hour, screens changed, again. The big projection TV that had Texas Hold 'em went to Sci Files, and the smaller tv's went to robot poker playing. The rest of the trivia night, pastimes, lexi and six, was a "great time had by all". I say this, out of respect for BW's Middletown. They treated their Buzztime cliental well. There was a Texas Hold'em game that Buzztime promotes, and they had it on the big screen. This BW's could have had U of KY or U of L basketball on the big screen, or they could have kept the trivia on the big screen. Instead, this site went with the promotional thing, and a dozen or so poker players had a great time. We trivia players had a nice break, playing a game of "who cares who wins Sunday's football games" and pesonally I tried to guess who would go "all in" and who would hold 'em and who would fold 'em.
