 Post subject: Computer problems?

I've been playing at Mad Jack's in Vadnais Hts (Minnesota) on Mondays lately. Yesterday on about 2/3 of the games we experienced difficulties on the 14th or 15th question. NTN would ask the question normally, but as the point bar on the bottom starts going down it would suddenly stop about the 1/3 of the way through and start again in a few seconds. When the points bar was 2/3 down it would stop and start again and then not give you the final clue. It would then not give you any points on your final score even if you answered in time for a 1000 score. Regular players at that site have complained to NTN and been given a stock reply of "Thank you for contacting us" and then never hear any more from NTN. Have any other sites experienced the same problem and figured out a solution?

We had the same thing happen at Hardtimes about a year before they closed.
It was fixed when BT finally sent a new computer. BT tried all kinds of other fixes over several weeks before being threatened with dropping BT service or send a new computer, they sent a new computer overnight and all was good.

The management at mad jacks must insist on a new computer.

Thanks for the feedback LEWSER and BUD. I will bring up the suggestion of a new computer to the regulars at Mad Jack's. The manager seems to be a good guy who is willing to work with the trivia players. He has tried rebooting the computer. He has also shut the whole system down and restarted it. Neither of those efforts seemed to work.
