| Post subject: | Horribly Site-Poor East Bay Finally gets a new spot... |
Central Contra Costa County in the East Bay of NorCal has been worse than site-poor for the last six months or so... more like site-non-existent after Magoo's in Pleasant Hill dropped the game... BUT... A new Buffalo Wild Wings is under construction in Concord! I don't find an expected completion date, but I understand ground has been broken. It'll be at 2090 Diamond Blvd. where a Marie Callender's restaurant once stood. That building is still there, according to Google Maps Street View, but I understand it is already gone now. Even though I'm not nuts about BWW and their overpriced drinks and not-anything-like-good menu, they have BT and I'd say the only chance they drop the game at a location is if the location itself closes. This gives me a close-by place to get the occasional kill-some-time solo trivia session in without having to drive 30-40 minutes out of the way to do so. Maybe some others will find the joy of local BT Trivia, too. :D |
