Finally, I get a close by alternative to Buffalo Wild Wings!

Our regular location is Mister Mo's in Palos. However, in the bad driving winter time here in Chicago, we like having a location we can get to that is closer. It also works when we make a last minute decision to play and can still make the start of a game.

However, we have been becoming more and more disenchanted with the Willowbrook BWW as it has become a glorified Chuck E. Cheese. We went out to play on Friday night (Lifetime Holiday Movies). We were lucky enough to find ONE working board. I played on my phone and let my wife have the board. It was then I discovered that Falco's (a place I can walk to) now has Buzztime. We played Topix and left. As we were walking out, we saw in the dining room area, gobs of kids playing on the Buzztime tablets. Then, we saw four kids sitting in the waiting area also playing with the Buzztime boards.

BWW needs to make up its mind if it is a place for adults to hang out and have fun (like their commercials show) or if it is competing with Chuck E. Cheese for the child business. Has anyone else seen their BWW in this light?

Falco's, here we come!

Yes that is exactly how our BWW is. Worse, we have no other good choices like you do.

Luckily Opiee and I are in FL now and have many non bww choices. Too bad our friends in MD are staying home all Saturdays till Jan 9th and fighting the kids for tablets on Thur and Fri.

I'll have to check this place out. It's within shouting distance driving-wise from where I work. Might be nice to visit for a change of scenery. How's the food/drink prices?

Very reasonable. The pizza tastes very much like Home Run Inn.

Every youth sports team in every youth sports league heads to my BW every weekend and the area has two hotels in walking distance, so that means every tourney has teams staying at them.

Morgantown is a 40 minute drive option.

This is the one on 83 just south of I-55 by they way. Not the one in the city.

Unfortunately, just over a year ago, Falco's dropped Buzztime. Apparently it wasn't getting enough play to justify the cost.
