I'm a 17 year customer, played trivia for the last 11 years, and all in all it's a fun place, lot's of flat screens,FAT TIRE AMBER ALE on tap, close proximity to CHICAGO'S MIDWAY AIRPORT [we are the closest buzztime establishment].
The bad,you never know when they will be packed,I went there last night thinking that on a MONDAY the place would be empty,it was mobbed [a political rally was the culprit]. Mediocre food, 10 ntn controllers, and loud volume on the tv's during home sports games round out the bad.
#1 reason for my patronage is a selfish one,I can walk there [1mile] so Idon't have to deal with counting how many beers I have.

W only have a 3 player team on tues, VAPID got in to a beef with the owner so our team has shrunk. I am going to help the owners hubby to move the antenna for buzztime so we can get reception out in the beer /smoking garden, that will be a definite plus in raising up my game soring averages, and attracting new players.

I haven't played there since May 2009. Walking distance for me is 3 blocks. I understand the food went from edible-if-you're-hungry to mediocre, which is a good thing. This is NOT the closest BT location to Midway but it's still not a bad cab ride. (Coach's Sports Bar is 3 blocks south of the airport)

It's in the Holiday Inn down the street from Midway. I think it opened in late 2009 (maybe November). How long it lasts depends on how long Buzztime lasts in hotels I guess.

Michael Anthony's was going to send a pallet full of pizzas down to Haiti, but we're supposed to be helping people, not giving them more problems.
