The team at Gator's has 5 core players and several who are part time players. We have moved around a lot in recent years due to several things including excessive smoke (not a problem any longer w/ the statewide smoking ban now in affect) and several nice locations that dropped NTN on us.
We are currently at Gator's pub in Tigard, OR (suburb of Portland, OR). Gator's is a sports pub that caters to Portland Trailblazer fans(our local NBA team) and sports fans in general.
Gator's has 15 NTN boxes when they're all running. Lately hasn't been more than 11 or 12 at a time as several have been broken. That said, the reception on the boxes that work seems excellent.
The management has generously allowed us use of one of the high def big screens during Showdown as well as a 2nd smaller tv.
The wait staff has been very kind and accommodating to us.

Style: We play as a team, sharing all answers for the betterment of the bar average. We welcome any and all visiting players to the Portland area to join us on Tuesdays. (We don't play often other than Tuesdays)
As we have 5 core members, we generally have at least 1 player double-boxing to get a full average in showdown.
We feel we have done a good week's work if we can rank in the top 50. As our core has dwindled, this has become much more difficult. Lately we have been between 51-100 much more often than not though we have ranked a couple times.
Our team's top (legit, non repeat game) finish in showdown is 2nd place on two different occasions, one of which we were beaten only by a known 'borg' bar.
We abhor 'borging' and much prefer to win or lose on the merits of what we remember, not on how well we can search the internet.
