I've been trying to play at My Home, too, which I think is a great place with wonderful amenities: Good food (although the menu has been a bit limited of late), free WiFi, flexible hours, and dedicated TVs that patrons can turn to any channel they like. They even have beds for you if you are in no shape to drive after a night of trivia and drinking. I'm not sure that allowing minors to run around and get underfoot is the best business model, and it seems to be the same regulars there every day, but it is definitely the most comfortable place I have ever played.
My problem is that the game is very glitchy at My Home. I often get the blue "No Games are Found" screen, and when I do manage to get into a game, I often get kicked out after a question or two, and by the time I get back in I have lost another question or two. I would try to turn WiFi off and try it on data, but my data carrier only gives me one or two bars where My Home is located. So far, I have managed to play only one complete game (and it was just a 15-minute Late Shift game) without any problems. If there are any other patrons of My Home who have tips on how I might improve the playing experience there, please let me know.
Overall, I give it three stars.
Anon, I would start with seeing how old the router is that your internet provider sent you years ago? The older ones, even only 2 -3 years old, really aren't that good anymore. Call them up and ask them to send you a new updated fast one. I'm on Verizon Fios with a one year old router, very fast, no glitches with the BT app ever, once I'm in. Sometimes it takes 2 or 3 tries to get in if it's a peak time right before SIX, just back out and try again, refresh button doesn't seem to work.
