That was a bit more challenging than the first round. The team needed the third clue to answer GD’s 3, 4, 7, 10, 11 and 12.

With only two of the questions needing third-clue rescue, the team did OK for this round.
Frightening Round

We don’t want to HARP on our failures. But after missing F3, we took a serpentine route to the wrong answer on F4. Fortunately we got the high-value questions after that.
Py-Ram-It Round

The order of the eliminations was 5, 4, 1, and 3, leaving #2, ALEXANDER I, as the correct answer. DUFF made this call even before most of us had finished reading the question. We were inclined to go with him, a well-know history expert.
The team could have had a great score were it not for the miscues in the countdown and pyramid rounds. As it was the top score were still good enough to match our team average. They were 47455, 46818, 46765, 45643, 45337 and 44820, for a team composite of 46172 points.
This would only be good enough for SIXTEENTH Place for all teams displayed on the ‘Network Rankings’ page on game night. Owning to the fluke where non-registered players do not have their scores entered into the official team scores, The BWW Gibby gang moved up to 15th in the official ratings. But hey, we are not turning away in disgust with a Top 20 finish in a tough game.
Congrats go to the folks at Danny K’s for their top non-Borg finish at 55594 points. They were followed by Chicago Loop (54177) and The Fellowship (50573).
