The supreme irony, at the Tailgate in Minneapolis, is that Cathy and Tom, a couple of property lawyers playing as JOE, hadn't seen the previous quiz. They sit alone at the rail, and having successfully navigated the false leads, finished in the top 10 nationally. Their icon, JOE, is actually their grandson. So the Tailgate was dragged into a #9 finish by a playmaker that wasn't aligned with the usual suspects.
