If the number of sign-ups remains fairly low, I will probably alter the format slightly, most likely by adding one week to the qualifying phase (so it would be best four-out-of-five scores, vice best three-out-of-four). As a reminder, sign-ups close midnight, April 23, and play begins on Tuesday, April 26.

I'll cross-post this on the other platforms. I know a few of the Brainbuster folks had expressed interest in this. I also have contact information from the previous tournaments if you were interested in having that.

Since we are at 11 teams, we will have four advancing to the single-elimination playoffs (eight just seems way too 1980's NHL). And as a result, we will add one qualifying round, to give the cream sufficient time to rise to the top.

This leaves us with five weeks of qualifying, with the top four scores counting, followed by a four-team single-elimination playoff. The competition starts this Tuesday; good skill to all teams.
