What in the name of god was up with all of the Canadian questions in Showdown last night? All 10 Warmup Round questions were about Canada, Canadians or Canadiana. The rest of the game was without incident except the cheating bastards at Spectator's took gold on an all New Mexico medal stand. Griff |

They must have grabbed older questions from a Canada, Eh bunch, a game they have offered for Canadian teams. We had the now and then problem recur where they topics for Category Round were the same as last week. The questions were 'new', meaning the category had nothing to do with the question. |

Back when Showdown was a 90 minute game they launched a Canada only game on Friday nights which shortened the game to 60 minutes without reducing the number of questions. It pioneered the format the main Showdown game follows now. They may be stealing questions from that. Btw, as a Canadian I found many of those questions tough. |
