Were categories for that round and the final wrong for everyone, or were we just lucky?

We had classical composers for final strategy, although question was about the Nepalese Civil War.

Our final from July 4 listed 3 painters, and we had to pick their school. Does that one sound right?

The entire Showdown game on Tuesday, July 11, was a repeat of the June 20 Showdown game (at least at Time Out West). There probably isn't anything wrong with your local system, VIKING. We still managed to forget that the East River is a tidal estuary, and that John Wilson wrote under the name Anthony Burgess.

We also had the screwed up Categories.

All the sites that I have contact with experienced the same problem of a repeat game. BT acknowledged that it was their screw up.
