The first European Rulers question listed several names of Polish monarchs (none of which I remember) and then asked what kind of kings they were. The answer was "elected."

The second animal question asked which endangered species was found in Angola and Namibia. The answer was "black-faced impala."

And, for whatever reason(s), one of the alternative choices was that eternally damnable junior university.

The second "Animal Names" question in Category was something like 'Wapati (sic) is another name for the species commonly known as (elk)". Such an obvious spelling error in Showdown was disappointing.

The first General Science question was roughly "The 'Standard Model' refers to the interaction of (subatomic particles). There must have been some other clue in it, but it was about that ambiguous.

The second In Memoriam question was "What tv actress just dued at age 94? (Barbara Billingsly).
