Did YOTCHO win the nation running 5 boards by themself, crushing everybody else, or is there something I missed?

Must be, that's pretty damn impressive. It wasn't a particularly difficult game, but not all that much easier than usual either.

A teammate just informed me of this thread. Thanks for the kudos, it was a solo effort that night. As I've told others, I just got lucky they didn't ask the usual inordinate amount of current TV questions. I will say that the best part of playing solo (which I pretty much never do) is realizing how much stuff you don't know until you're forced to answer yourself. You get quite spoiled playing with the players we have here in SoCal.

Impressive showing YOTCHO. Unfortunately, I'm quite aware of the vast amount of stuff I don't know.
