Glad you cleared that up. I thought your game was so bad last night that you took your pants off.

Very artsy fartsy to be sure. Luckily, one of us knew it (not me).

Nah, I threw out the precall on that one. That bloody earworm hasn't left my head since he originally did it on TV.

As a sidenote, people might be interested in the following:

Quote:
Platt was not an Army General, but rather a civil rights activist in Atlanta. The nickname "General" was given to him by Hosea Williams because of his heroic efforts on behalf of the civil rights movement.[6] The Georgia General Assembly designated September 4, 2001, as Larry Platt Day for his "priceless and immeasurable contributions to society", as well as "his great energy and commitment to equality and the protection of the innocent and for his outstanding service to the Atlanta community and the citizens of Georgia."[7] During his audition, Platt wore a pin in support of Troy Anthony Davis.[8]

Are you guys serious? "Pants on the Ground" was the final question in The Arts, hasn't BT done enough to screw up a great product. An Arts question about some tool on American Idol, thank god I stayed home.

Yes, we are serious. We also had a video game question, but luckily someone knew the answer.

I thought the video game question was fair game (most usually aren't). It asked about a game that is now almost 25 years old, and is, in total, one of the better selling pieces of media on Earth (dollar weighted) over that time frame. It's not substantially different than any of the other "location" questions they ask about any other type of media.

Does anyone remember what the question was? Just curious.

Unless I'm thinking of a question from another game, it was something like:

What game was set in Hyrule (something something)
Answer: Legend of Zelda

Thanks Dante. Would not have gotten that one. Zelda was a game I never played.

hmmm - mowed a lot of lawns at age 11 to save up to buy the original Nintendo & the original Legend of Zelda.

Was a little upset when I learned that they sold magazines that gave away stuff like the hidden doors & things.

I was briefly in a b'dubs a day or two ago, and glanced up at another Legend of Zelda Q. It was about Link.

Now that I think about it, I remember very little about the Legend of Zelda. There were increasingly more powerful swords you had to find/win. And the endless music changed when you went inside or left one of those places.

If someone told me that to save the world I'd have to win that game in three hours or less, I wonder if I'd know where to make the little dude Link go. Maybe the knowledge still exists in some quiet corner of my brain that's been gathering dust for 20+ yrs. Probably not. We'd all be screwed.

That was a pretty fun game. Better than the committee hearing on the merger of Comcast & NBC that's on C-span right now. No way Buzztime is asking about any of this crap.

My favorite part about that game, and still is to this day, was the music. It's amazing how many people who remember almost nothing of the game can still sing half the songs when prompted.

I was hoping for Zelda music.

Those fellows could use a rehearsal or two.

I can't wait for the dance remix.

Wait, was that the dance remix?

Rule: whenever the weathermen start joking about something, it has already jumped the shark.

Corollary: this also applies to those people on the news in the morning who can't stop laughing at their own jokes.

That is too true.
Why is it that hippie terrorists never seem to have good comedic timing?
It's a mystery...

That's our local weather guys. They got on G4's Attack of the Show for Fail of the Day with that. (I think that's the right show, didn't actually see it).
