So in the matching round, we got one of those dreaded pick-a-number questions, Match the evergreen tree type to the number of species it has. We were pretty sure that pine had the most and spruce the second most, and those were the first two we were asked to match, but that left 14 species and 3 species to be divided between larches and redwoods. Incidentally, those two values corresponded with buttons 1 and 3.

The third tree came up, larch, and we were befuddled. IAUTAH asked me, "What would Monty Python say?" I automatically quoted in my best BBC accent, "Number 1, the larch."

Button 1 was the correct answer. Thanks, guys.

That works. Was fortunate enough to guess right on that. Ended up first in the East based on the immediate rankings with 57K which seems low for a Gold...overall scores were low for Six tonight.

We were a little ahead of the curve, so we didn't see any rankings. Looks on the Buzztime site like your score held up and we finished second behind you guys. Second straight night we got zeroed by the final Shows question. Battlestar Galaxative and Riddick. Sigh. Don't they know any good s/f that people actually watch? :)
