Is there a Smartest Bar Tourney this year? The place I play hadn't heard anything.

I speculate there might not be (and April 7, three weeks away, would be the start if they used last year's fit), main reasons being:

1) the concept appeared to be becoming too technologically difficult for their remaining people and their dwindling technical proficiency. Recall that they blew 2 out of the 13 dates, one with an infamous rerun everyone saw, one with a phantom rerun that they declared void however nobody saw.

2) So focused on the rollout of tablets replacing consoles this year, that they are misguided enough to think that would interfere, thinking the tablets are so cool and awesome that it's an unfair disadvantage that some locations won't have them. Wrong on both counts, they are less cool and awesome than they think, and for Smartest Bar they would be a disadvantage to have. But watch them offer that reasoning if pressed.

Since I haven't played anything since November, I just monitor their meager Happenings page for an announcement, but don't expect one. It would be like them to not put one there, and announce only on Facebook or on the broadcast.

Yes please put the word here if anyone sees something.

Just saw on Buzztimes Facebook page saying it won't be back this year.

Now even less reason to play Buzztime trivia.

I been playing less Buzztime lately due to live trivia, and comedy night even....I play it only 3 days in a 2-weeks time.
