On vacation, we played at Pat's Pizza in Windham, Maine. very welcoming place, with 4-5 sets already tuned to Buzztime when we arrived. Unaccountably so, because in the two nights we played there so far, only one other person has played, and he came only for the sci-fi game and left immediately. It's much bigger than your average NYC pizzeria, with one whole room filled with arcade games and kids, and two other rooms where people are eating from the extensive menu--not just pizza. I assume the owner likes the idea of having trivia questions pop up on TVs all around the other rooms. When my wife and I asked for five boxes, we got them immediately, although one had to be sent back because it didn't work. I'm not MEGUMI, so it's hard to play four boxes, even with my wife DAR feeding me answers.
Anyway, I posted on this category because one of the Six answer choices was: 1) Wind; 2) Rain; 3) Rain. Good thing for us the answer wasn't Rain..
So, PNGWN, put this place on your list of sites to visit.

Congrats on a nice game, when we saw the site scores at the "Adam's Mill" we thought "wow" don't see alot of top scores on the board from Maine, not alot of sites that have buzztime up there. And now I know of another possible site to play in maine when I head up there to visit my brother again in the near future:)

The Sea Dog in Bangor is on the boards a lot. More so for CD during the afternoon & happy hour than the premiums. Several good players there, we visited them a few years ago. Very nice bar with excellent food. Without a doubt the best BT bar in Maine, Rollies in Belfast would be 2nd. Well worth checking them out.

It's close enough to Portland, I could probably do it. Trouble is, after Hawaii and Florida, Maine's probably the third most difficult state for me to reach without wings

(If I cheated, and drove to Hyder, it would take about as long as it would to reach any part of Wisconsin, Missouri, or Oklahoma)

Yes, it's definitely cheating unless you go somewhere with a 907 area code. ;)
