Yeah, I usually do play 3 tablets, but still don't have that down yet like on the blue boxes.

It looks like Houston was also on 3 or 4 players.

The Albuquerque crew isn't formally in the tourney, as our availability to play Thursday Six is week-to-week. Second place again this week, and it's all Buzzies fault. If you want to add us to the listings, it looks like we'll have enough scores to at least post a result, even if we have to drop a week we don't play.

Now, that Marathon question, which President didn't have a VP? Our stone-cold history nut said Millard Filmore, and we didn't look back. Imagine our stunned surprise when the answer came back as Chester Author. Buzzies: Millard Filmore IS ALSO CORRECT. Our expert was so certain of this answer, which was posted first in the list, that we answered and didn't even bother to look at the clues, instead going about our usual inspired conversation. This cost us our bonus points for Marathon, and as we lost the game by 800 points to Gaithersburg, also cost us the #1 national spot.

This is an ongoing issue with the editing of premium games. This now happens a few times/month. They don't bother to check the distractor answers, which sometimes are also correct. We learned our lesson; we'll at least the read the rest of the list to rule out Buzztime mistakes.

Sorry for the delay. Congrats to Walsh's for the win in February. The rest of us will have to work our brains a little more this month to try to steal the trophy from the Six Challenge #1 winners.

BWW Gaithersburg was closed last night because of 8" of snow. Lame fuckers, the roads were fine. 2nd time they have done this crap in a week. Do all BWW close when it snows? We are new to the BWW world and hope it's not going to be an ongoing problem. All other real bars in the area were open.

Put us in for the drop score early this month.

We were indirectly helped by the snowstorm. One of the players on our team, handle of WILDCT, was on our side last night. Usually, he is in New Jersey on Thursdays, but not last night due to the storm, and because of him and his wife and our own inspired play, we put up our best score yet in this tournament. :)

Team Nacho Mamas should have stayed home last night, a very pitiful average for the game. Bud I hope they get their crap together at BWW for you guys. I will get the scores up this evening. Looks like Concert Pub took the crown last night though.

It doesn't look like Sliders will repeat our stellar performance from last week. In fact, I hope I won't have to do a MEGUMI impersonation, although we should have at least two players.

It has indeed been a long evening! 8-) My shop has kept me jumpin the last week. Not a bad problem to have, but it gets in the way of recreation some times. :mrgreen:

The current 2 month average shows Concert Pub with 56,751 and Walsh's with 56,775 a VERY close game that will be determined tomorrow night. Congrats to these teams for bringing their A game!

But remember, we will drop the low score for this month. So it should make for an interesting finale.

A little late to notice this, but better late than never. Your February scores for Concert Pub have Week 3 wrong. Per Don Denton's site, Concert Pub had a score of 55,368 for Week 3. By my calculations, that should give the Concert Pub an average of 55,819 for the month, still dropping the low score in Week 2. Still second for the month, but a thousand points closer in average that the figures you list above.

BWW's scores are all correct.

BUD is right that Concert Pub's February Week 1 score should be 60077, per Denton's records. I used Denton's records for calculating the February average, so I think Concert Pub would still be at 55,819 for the month.

Unless I seriously missed something, I want to congratulate Concert Pub on a well-earned and well-deserved victory. It is fitting that in the final game we both threw our best shot, I think. And you beat us in that fight.

Can someone from Concert Pub please PM me the details on the best way to deliver the trophy? I apologize in advance for not being able to engrave your group's name onto the trophy. We do not know of anyone in the immediate Chicago area who can do such a thing.

Once again, I tip my proverbial cap to you for a fine victory. The next go-round, whenever that may be, we will be ready to reclaim what is ours.

So we did play at Schanks, and sometime between me logging in and GIMPY getting around to it, connectivity to Buzztime was interrupted, and two of our playmakers had to use guest handles

JEDI 46893, GURU 46799, PYNGWN 46042, PENGWN 45601, BLT 42619, for an average of 45590

This was a lot of fun. I don't know if we'll be able to participate next time, but I'm certainly willing to give this another go someday, schedule permitting. :)

And by a VERY close margin of victory, I would like to congratulate The Concert Pub on the Six Challenge #2 win by a narrow 339 point margin. Thank you to all of the folks that participated. I am already looking forward to challenge #3 sometime in the fall. I have also fixed the scores from February. If I have made any mistakes, feel free to let me know.
