New Scaratings

I'd like to take a moment for some self congratulations for my home bar, Bw-3's Western Hills (sometimes listed as Bw-3's Cincinnati). While we have a good group of players and are usually competitive in the premium games, the one thing we had never done was be the #1 site for an hour long premium game.... until last night that is! We nailed the final round and were pretty happy with our scores. I predicted a top 5 finish but when the rankings came up we were #1, much to our delight and surprise. I'd like to thank my teammates CHEWIE, CAPTN, MARKB, ZAPPA and TBONE for their contributions. Tonight we shall celebrate with a round of Irish Car Bombs (plus an iced tea for CAPTN).

We were playing at BWW Rockville MD instead of our usual Hardtimes.
We blew the Rhodium question in the final round and ended up 7th.
Decent game, not too easy. BT seems to be getting it right these days.

The Vancouver topix game was a mini passport game and we had fun with that, ending up 4th. A BC bar won as they should. But the next 3 were US bars.

congratulations from the northcoast as well. you guys did quite well. we are always happy to see more ohio teams at the top of the board.

we enjoyed the vancouver topix as well. showing up ahead of holiday inn vancouver on the board was amusing. although it was obvious that if pedler and dj had played 5 boxes they would have won hands down.
