Has anybody noticed that the first round of the SIX game is not so "Easy" these days??
The questions in the first round used to have a clue to the answer embedded in the question. Therefore "Easy SIX".
But starting a couple of months ago there's no more clues in the question. "Not so Easy SIX".

Our group noticed it as soon as that change was made. Makes "Easy Six" a bit of a misnomer.

Since it is the shortest, and lowest-scoring round in Six, it would not bother me if the embedded clue were to return.

I have also noticed that in the first round that the wrong answers are so far off that it doesn't matter anyway.

I could never figure out why a game worth 60k+ would have an entire round worth 2k. Totally worthless. While this version is decent, I really miss the original. Especially the matching round.

It's still the Easy round by far, though the Jeopardy clues were fun. It could be a new writer or the round is now coming out of the data base without clues.

We did notice last night that they are now putting in 1-3 answers that are so ridiculous, you can eliminate them even if you know nothing.

The change in Easy Six difficulty happened a while back, yeah. We'd been bumbling through the harsh version for weeks and weeks . :P

Well for those who care it looks like the intrinsic clues were back today.

Last night, too, but only in half of the questions.

Our problem is that Six is essentially unplayable at our local BWW. For the third time in a month, we got together on Thursday, and the lag was completely and utterly unplayable. Many/most of our boxes lagged out completely and wouldn't register at least one answer/round, making the bonus impossible to get. Quite frustrating to mash the answer dozens of times like a video game, only to have the box never register an input. We salvaged a low 50s game when we'd had an easy 60k+ game amongst us.

Very frustrating, and it seems to only happen with Six. Anyone else have this issue? Any possible solutions? We play on a covered outdoor patio, and there's some thought that marginal connections to the boxes+ the polling subroutines in Six contribute to this problem. We may try moving inside, to see if that helps. Cell service is also highly erratic at this location, which doesn't have reliable wifi, making play through the app also a non-starter.
