I thought it was Rice Cake and he does seem to have a little cheat somewhere. Not nearly as bad as a year ago though.

All players must be logged into 1 location only, the bar they are playing for. No outside communication to other bars. No reference material, electronic or paper. No google.

Us folks at Time-Out West lost connection with Buzztime at about 45 minutes before the SIX game.
We were still able to play the game. Hopefully it was the correct game.
We are hoping that sometime today the connection will be restored & our scores will be posted.

Thanks for the update Ray J. If the last 2 Qs of the game were about the AL East Champion Baltimore Orioles then you played a repeat of week 1.

The Hall of Fame on the BT website will update if TO W connects within 3 days.

Congrats to Blue Rock on taking game 2 of 5.

We have some new prizes being offered up for this year's 2023 MUDEE Thur Six Challenge #10.

Buzztime has offered to every person on the winning team 2 items from their swag room. 1: a souvenir old blue box playmaker ($40 on their store site) and 2: a BT coffee mug ($?).

So that's cool that they are aware of this year's Six Challenge and have posted about it on their FB page which did draw in a few new teams for this year. THANKS Buzztime!

It looks like Walsh’s wins week 3 with Johnny Malloys and John Hall Store in 2nd and 3rd.

Stained Glass took the drop score this week. I was busy watching a Chicago team blowout my team. I could have just played Six instead and been blown out by a different Chicago area team and saved a lot cash in the process.

Rankings are probably on Don Dentons site by now.

A very accesible night overall with many good scores. Walsh's had to split on the Joan Crawford matching and was shamefully slow on deoxyribose, otherwise clean.

Week 4 is tonight. I smell a Johnny Malloys win brewing tonight.

Walsh’s still in front to win a bunch of blue boxes and coffee mugs in addition to keeping the Mudee trophy.

As will be apparent to those who have seen Don Denton's excellent results, standing on the four weeks played, Walsh's lowest possible score is better than any other location's highest possible score. With a wire-to-wire performance, Walsh's has won its 4th consecutive and 6th overall MUDEE Six Challenge. The trophy stays home for another year!!

I will let BT know that you would like 10 souvenir old Blue Box playmakers and 10 BT coffee cups sent to Walsh's. I have no idea how long that might take. Probably quicker than normally getting blue Boxes replaced. :mrgreen:

Let the manager know so they know what's coming. Oh...BT did ask for a team pic if you can get one next Thur maybe with the Mudee trophy? Throw the pic on facebook badbart if you could. Don't worry about having 10 in the pic. :roll:

The final game of the Mudee Thur Six Challenge is tonight. 2nd and 3rd place on the podium are still up for grabs. It looks like 6 bars can get 2nd or 3rd.

The Market, Johnny Malloys, Blue Rock, Time Out West, Arch II and Grumpys Too can take a podium spot. Very close scores with the drop score accounted for, esp among the 1st 4 listed.

Also a battle for 8th through 12th among Wooden Nickel, Stained Glass Pub, Brewlands, Brittanys and Torrey Pines.

Arch II in CT let us all know last night that they just had some bad luck in the early weeks of the tourney. They took the win in the final game of the 2023 Mudee Six Challenge #10.

2nd was Johnny Malloys playing at a streaming bar. I’d like to hear what they thought about the differences playing there vs at a box/tablet bar.

3rd last night was Walsh’s followed by the pesky Tine Out West, often scrapping with their IL friendly rival. Apparently no sight of RICECAKE anywhere so that was good.

Don should have the final rankings up soon to see who the other two bars are on the podium with the Champ Walsh’s.

It turns out Johnny Malloys jumped from 3rd to 2nd and Arch II jumped up big time from 6th to take 3rd. That’s the top 3.

4th was Blue Rock, 5th Time Out West, 6th The Market, 7th Grumpys Too, 8th Wooden Nickel, 9th Stained Glass Pub team of 1 player (me), 10th Brewlands, 11th Brittany’s, 12th champions, 13th Torrey Pines, 14th Bookers. Barley Hopsters ended up dropping trivia before the tourney started.

That wraps it all up, just have to get Walsh’s 10 blue boxes and 10 coffee mugs on the way from BT. Congrats Merkin, Cvavra and team for another Mudee Six win!
