This wasn't a case of "oops, hit the button too fast!" (which I've been known to do, and will readily admit). I was two points off perfect so I was making sure I waited. I listened for the beep from the box, hit the button, then watched it change answer 3 and not allow me to answer the Alf answer until nearly the very end of the question.
Also noticed towards the latter rounds the box was giving me 50 - 100 points off on each question no matter how fast I hit it.
Anyone else ever seen this before on the matching round? Can a bad box cause this? Bad signal in a particular seat?
I had no problem with the matching round and that category. I have not seen that problem before. One problem that comes up occasionally is that someone gets knocked off the screen, but the playmaker still shows they are playing. That has happened to me twice. The darn thing is you loose all your points when you sign on again. I think these problems are bugs in the local computer system, since they do not happen to everyone, everywhere.
