August Wed SIX tourney under way

Hardtimes kicked ass in the DC/MD/VA/WV/DE region last night. 3rd overall. Good game by many bars. BT was actually advertising the tourney on screen as a team game, leading up to game time...wow.

Thanks for another $200 in Amazon cards. :mrgreen:

Unless someone wakes up. :lol:

Anyone else on here in this tourney?? in any region?

Tavern on Main in El Segundo is throwing our hat in the ring for this one in the Southland region. Six is the favorite game at our bar. We were surprised to come in #2 in our region (#14 overall) until we saw that some folks from Steel Pit were playing over in West Hills at Yankee Doodles. We're really going to have to step it up in the next three weeks.

The Interesting thing is that Cool River of Homer Glen is also in the Chi Town Six league where they are in second place. Apparently BT does not know that Homer Glen and Tinley Park are in the Chicago Metro area, no where near MO.

It looks like quite a few folks from southern Indiana have decided to combine forces at 4th St. Bar in Columbus for the Six contest.
How those meanies can sleep at night while picking on lil' ol' 86th St Pub is beyond me... :mrgreen:

The took 16th to our 18th, tougher game than last week. We blew the 1st 2 qs of the final round.

Way to go Hokie House.

Hi Bill (Viking), welcome to the boards. Nice to see a new member posting from a bar that we see listed a lot.

Another really nice game from the Hokie House last night. They beat Hardtimes for the 2nd week in a row. This time HH took 4th to HT's 5th. :shock:

So as you say we stayed close to keep the lead rather large at around 14k. One week to go. I think we only need a 50k to clinch if HH gets a perfect score.

We should be good. :mrgreen:

A BT rep dropped off our Amazon gift cards on Wednesday of last week.

Nothing at Hardtimes yet. Some reps are quicker than others.

After winning the May tourney the rep showed up at the end of July with the amazon cards. (but no box of tshirts and stuff as the BT tourney webpage said) This was week before the next tourney started.

Be patient but keep asking your manager if the cards have shown up.
