Anybody else have an issue with Mulligatawny listed as an Indian soup? I was always under the impression that it's an Anglo-Indian thing, like Chop Suey is a American-Chinese thing.

We didn't like it either, but the other choices didn't come close to matching, so we had to go with it.

Same here, got on it by eliminating the others.

Pretty tough game last night. The writer is heading back towards the tougher end of the difficulty spectrum. Strange how BT goes back and forth over a few months span.

I thought it was Irish and so did the kibbitzer next to me. My Irish/Swedish mother always called her stews Mulligatawny.

it usually has tumeric in it - which makes it sort of Indian. the name is definitely Indian (Tamil to be more precise) meaning "pepper water"
