First question in year round - Cagney and Lacey premieres - answer given was 1982, but I yelled 1981 and took everyone down. Looking it up indicates the show (or TV movie) began in 1981. This seems to happen a lot in the year round, but maybe that's the nature of the beast. It would be nice to see them clean that round up a little, there are constantly questionable calls between two years (Double Fantasy from John Lennon/Yoko Ono was listed as 1981 a few weeks ago).

First episode of the TV show didn't air until 1982.

That being said, I'm still not sure if the question is in error or not. I can see how a mistake like that could happen.

Technically I suppose, if the clue was TV SHOW, 1982 is correct. If the clue was TV MOVIE, 1981 is correct. If the clue was simply TV, 1981 has to be correct. Shows such as V have the same issue, V premiered as a mini-series in 1983, then was a weekly show starting in 1984.

It was fairly minor, but I hate yelling wrong answers, that's twice in 7 years now :)

I can confirm this... he rarely yells the wrong answers and generally just gives them in a normal voice.
