Did Stained Glass have the updated box?

The owner at Bull's Eye was told that the new games would require a subscription and that he would have to deal with his account rep.

Not that we play Spotlight, but I am wondering how many BYODs who have had the game for a while have this new equipment.

Still unknown which box SGP has. The one bartender last night didn’t want to go looking around for it, not even knowing what she was looking for or where.

SGP got their no box set up in Oct but I doubt they paid any extra fees or anything. I’d guess we have the small silver one. Also given the constant disconnects it’s probably the small one. We don’t play SD or SL but if the newer BGN device will stay connected I will suggest they get it.

I’ll guess no one plays SL on the app tonight. We didn’t make the trip just to find that out.

Played Spotlight at a Chromebox location last night. Seemed to work right outside of the Out of Africa question where one of the clues said
"Not #3" which was the answer, which I think was a system-wide error. Could a regular player concur?

At Stained Glass pub with an unknown no box system we had 2 countdowns starting at 830 eastern. Arrowed out to see the game choices and it was only Buzztime or Countdown. So we probably have the 1st gen sitehub, delivered in Oct ‘24.

Texted with a player at a tablet bar using the app. The app did not work for Spotlight, BT tablet only.

So this all lined up with what Aram announced, you will need the new BGN device for SD and SL.

We will wait to get that new box. Not much interest in SD or SL. The 1 reason to switch would be if there are far fewer disconnects with the BGN. We are at about 1 an hour around 35 to 45 minutes after the top of the hour. Lasts for 1 to 3 questions.
