Well, Coldplay and Santana have both released new records/downloads since they were last at bat. It does look
kinda bleak, though. They gotta ask some new questions about these guys, though.........right? Maybe?

Well as my teammate JEFF said when he vented his frustration, "If they're going to repeat the Headliners, the least they could do is ask new questions about them."

But that's the entire reason why we're getting repeat Headliners right now. It's so that they don't have to write new questions.

And we all know from the Classic Playback days too that buzztime used to go on "recess time" for stretches of weeks or months at a time when they didn't feel like writing new questions (save for the current events round... since that portion of the game always had to be current material). The regulars all knew when buzztime was having, well, to use your words, a firesale on repeat questions.

But the problem wasn't as blatantly obvious back then because the entire game didn't revolve around how you fared on the last round of questions. Now it is blantantly obvious. Mind you, I think we can all agree that they should always write new questions for all the premium games, every time.

But thanks to the entire focus of the Playback game being on the Headliner round, its now blantantly obvious when the repeat question recess problem rears its ugly head in this game.

I am opting out of playback tonight. My daughter (and music trivia partner) has to work and I refuse to be riddled with Beyonce questions! :mrgreen:

Uh, there was a previous Beyonce game? Yup, its official. I'm getting old.
Anyway, there was a lot in this game, as well in the games from the past month, that
seemed to have a lot of new questions. Maybe the glass really is half full after all.
I'm curious to see how to use repeat questions in the topic "On Tour Now."
For something like that, they almost have to either write totally new questions for
that topic, or at least re-word previous questions so that they will make sense
in the context of the game. And, yeah, I do remember what company I'm talking
about here.

By definition, the whole game was a repeat out West.
