I'm fine with Girl Groups and perhaps Sunny Songs. 8-)

We said the same thing.

Well, hell. Something tells me that the over/under for this week's headliner round will be 5.5 for girl groups within the past 10-15 years. :(

That's why when my wife set up plans with another couple that didn't involve trivia, I wasn't too disappointed. I anticipated not seeing any questions on The Supremes or the Crystals.

Have there been 5 successful girl groups on this side of the pond in the last 10-15 years? I can think of the two that everyone else can. But you'd have to go pre-1990 for the others.

But you're right, knowing buzztime they'll classify Maddie & Tae as a girl group

___________X [co-sign]

Aside from Destiny's Child, the Pussycat Dolls, and TLC, I cannot think of very many U.S. all-girl-groups that flourished from 2000 to the present day, right off the top of my head. And I haven't heard anything from TLC-related in quite a while.

Guess it was 20 years. As is often the case, that could've been a fun game but buzztime relied on the doubling up questions crutch (extremely unnecessary in a generic topic game). It was two each for Destiny's Child, Spice Girls and TLC. Leaving one each for Little Mix (whoever they are), Pointer Sisters, Pussycat Dolls and Supremes.

Little Mix was some kind of group formed for X Factor. I'm glad I didn't waste my time.
