Although obscure, and maybe not a good headliner, it would be interesting to see a topic somewhere about B sides. The best thing is the Buzzies should not be able to throw in any recent pop in the mix, although they would figure out a way. Probably one of the most famous B side was Led Zeppelin's Hey Hey What Can I Do that was the B side to Immigrant Song.

Anyone have any B sides that they remember from back in the day of 45s?

Coincidentally the B.O.C. song Burnin For You that contains the line "time to play B sides" was the B side of Don't Fear The Reaper.

I do remember that "Act Naturally" was the B side of "Yesterday" (Beatles).

That said, I'd probably go with a 2-sided hits topic, rather than deal with less-well-known B sides. I think that "It's Too Late" was the A side, and "I Feel the Earth Move" was the B side (Carol King), but I wouldn't swear which was A or B.

Suggest it on their facebook site. Lord knows that buzztime is in need of Headliner ideas. I suggested Joe Cocker earlier this week, and they liked it. If they get enough suggestions, maybe we'll finally get some fresh Headliners.

Buzztime was even in need of Trendalicious ideas a few months ago. They asked for ideas for the month, got a lot of suggestions, and most of the suggestions that were posted on their facebook site got selected.

I thought B sides had already been a Playback headliner, but perhaps it was a Topix/Trendalicious game I was thinking of.

My favorite is the B Side of Napoleon XIV's biggest hit. It was called "!aaaH-aH ,yawA eM ekaT oT gnimoC er'yehT"

The only one I remember was Hot Buttered's "Popcorn" A side, "at the Movies" B side.

And then there was Mel Brooks' "High Anxiety" on the A... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rHrQC67aPBU&spfreload=10

With "Springtime for Hitler" on the B... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kHmYIo7bcUw&spfreload=10

A few I remember are:

Paul McCartney & Wings: Coming Up A side, Lunch Box Odd Sox B side

Gary Newman: Cars A side, Metal B side

M: Pop Muzik A side, M Factor B side.

I tend to remember the really weird stuff.
