Maybe Duets. Looks like April will be a good month to host a poker game!

Amazing that none of these came up tonight. The final was who sang the duet with Tom Petty on stop dragging my heart around. Stevie Nicks. A fairly easy final. We were missing our teenager (my daughter) tonight, so our average was only about 38K.

Grizzly Adams did have a beard... Hardest question of the round was, Who did Endless Love duet with Richie on Tuskegee?

Brings back memories of a free concert at the Student Center at Auburn University around 1977.

I remember the intro "Live from our own Tuskegee Alabama.... THE COMMODORES !"

They immediately started with Brick House, and every single woman there was dancing within seconds. If you couldn't get a girl to dance with you then, you were never going to.

They closed with Brick House, too.

Tuskegee is about 20 minutes from Auburn.

There must be more Fall Out Boys fans out there than I thought. The scores looked pretty good.

I wouldn't recognize a Fall Out Boy song if you told me it was on the radio right now.

You probably would, you just might not know it's them. Their last two hits are/were played all the time at sporting events & on television broadcasts of sporting events (particularly the postseason/playoffs).

You didn't have to know any Fall Out Boy song lyrics to do well in that round. Well you had to know the chorus of their first hit, but that was it. I think they should ask more about the artist's songs than the names of the artist's tours (two of them this week). Nobody cares about the actual name of a tour, and asking a casual player to come up with that answer is too much, IMO.

I thought the rest of the game before that round was well written & very challenging.

With some of the upcoming headliners, the earlier rounds are becoming the reason to play.

Congrats on the 81750 game. Hate to see what you'd score on an easy game

Those who win write history...but if they choose not to (Pittsburgh), then the third place team can write history in what they remember five days later.

April 25th Dance Tunes:

Encore: (something like) This dance tune includes a chorus of "Boogie Woogie Woogie":

Answer: The Electric Slide

Ahh I remembered this from all those trips to Club Meds in the 1990s. Marcie Griffiths sang this. She was in Bob Marley's back up band. It was a line dance song. A Taste of Honey was not an option and their song was Boogie Oogie Oogie.

Headliners was a real variety with other line dance songs like Achy Breaky Heart and The Hokey Cokey as
well as song/artists like The KLF.

I ran this category except for one--not lyrics to The Lambada ("Give pleasure to yourself")--a guess for the only non-English song . It was for "what kind people would dance the Watusi"--we had been threatened all night by bar staff that a big party of 60 people had reserved about 3/4 of the restaurant and we'd have to move...and yep just at the break after question 5 here they come...so went with ballroom dancers instead of go-go dancers when I noticed question 6 was already on screen.

It was my night too as they asked the lyrics to Whip It.

And now the local soccer season starts so I made sure to remind my friends that I won't be back until November.

So you message board folks can post or not post your own recaps until then.
