Abba to AC/DC? ZZTop to Zamphir?

Isn't that how Playback is advertised? I'm still waiting for Frank Sinatra, jazz, etc. How about some truth in advertising?

Agreed. The writers of Playback have neglected the pan flute and its virtuosos for far too long.

We have a guy on our team that begs for Jazz to be the Headliner every week.

I think > 95% of the people banging away at Playback would be very unhappy if that happens

That's yet another strike against this Headliner round. If you popped up a Jazz category in jukebox every so often, it was only 2 questions...and players could select the other category if they didn't want jazz. Now it's a smorgasbord, take it or leave it.

Although, I do think it would be pretty cool if they eventually used all six of the original Jukebox categories for the Headliner during the generic topic weeks (Rock, Jazz, Country, R&B/Rap, #1 Hits, Grab Bag). As long as it's heavily tilted to '90s/'00s Country
