A recap for those unable/unwilling to play last Saturday:
The headliner was one-hit wonders. I believe the round included repeat questions from a May 2018 game, but they may have meshed in others as well. Only one of difficulty was asking which female isn’t mentioned in Mambo #5 (no Julie).
The lyrics round was completely messed up. There were 10 countdown music questions with all three clues coming up immediately following the question. This happened a few times years back. Since playback questions don’t normally give clues, not sure what was going on. It was basically a free 10k for the round. I shamelessly would have missed an Elvis question, otherwise
I think last week’s 1950s headliner game was a complete repeat from earlier this year, but not sure about this past Saturday game (being two years ago). Having a random headliner adds a little anticipation to the mix.
