I played Playback for the first time in a long time last night while appropriately enjoying the music of the One World broadcast. It was the first time I had played an entire game on the App.

I was playing 2 phones under Scar and Muadib. No great shakes, but as I knew most of the TV theme show songs at least I had some points.(I was a decent player back in the 00s but no longer). I navigated the different rounds on the app reasonably well, so combined with the Headliner choice I felt confident heading into the finale for the first time in probably years.

Then I got to the last question, and couldn't get the app to take a wager ! I kept hitting my screen left and right handed and it still kept saying I had 0 % wagered.

At the last second I got 10% for Scar but nothing for Muadib, and answered the softball question on Those Were the Days from All in the Family, and ended up with 23K and 17K.

So, is there a trick to entering the wager ?

For me, the trick is to slide/drag the button from 0% to the right to whatever wager.

Well, I thought I was trying that.

You were lucky! We got about 1/2 way thru trivioke and the game switched to Countdown! We tried the next closest bar and got the same results. So we went to a third bar and "started over" in the pound round. Very frustrating!!!

Yes, it is frustrating. Premium game coding needs a little more love, though it probably won't get it.

Press, hold and drag the dot at 0% over to the 50% and then let go. I have no idea why the standard press one of 5 buttons wouldn't work here.

As to the crashing of Payback mid game, it may have to do with a player handle that has a strange character. We had that happen 2 of the last 4 weeks, only when a handle with a non normal character was playing and won a question. Possibly having to do with the handles being displayed on screen in the bar after winning that question? That handle won't play Playback any longer.
