British Artists did come up. Hopefully we won't be concerned with repeats any longer. Glad BT is getting back on a schedule of headliners and turning things in a forward direction after a long spring, summer and fall of off and on repeats.

British Artists was a good game, I liked it. Plenty of Classic Rock qs. Right in the wheelhouse of many long time Playback players.

The Winner was Stained Glass Pub in Silver Spring Maryland! Freezer nailed every Q in the headliner round including the only tricky one.
Paraphrasing - What artist was kicked out of a LA club for constant drunken heckling.
Keith Richards and 3 other likely drunks along with John Lennon were the choices.

The rest of the top 5 were Lumpys, Mickies, Walsh's and Time Out West.

Streak was broken got a repeat of the Christmas song game with no rankings and no rankings in the CD right before. Hopefully the network gets fixed and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame comes up next week.

Playback 1/23 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame members

Stained Glass Pub, Danny Ks, Walsh’s, Park Tavern, Beef O Brady’s.

The questions were about members of the Hall of Fame not about current class or most recent class or future class. Nothing about years bands sent in. Seemed like many qs were General qs pulled from the Data base, several out of date ones.

But it was fine, Though fairly easy headliner round.

Bring on Willie Nelson.

Oh really, there was trouble on Playback??

At the least second Opiee and I did not join Freezer and Dragon for Playback at Stained Glass Pub. They only had 2 boxes and didn’t do well. I had assumed it was Willie?

What was the headliner? The scores weren’t that good, didn’t look like a repeat.

1990s Bands - Mostly good stuff, some thought the final was too much about a movie and not music. We split on that one at SGP. The rest of the game was fine. Nothing jumped out as wrong. At least it was the right headliner round.

I would love to understand how playback subjects can be published so far in advance and then f'ed up. It happened again on Saturday where an artist was to be featured. It was posted on their website for a full month, yet they could not seem to get it right. Failing like they did 2 weeks ago.

So why publish who the 'headliners' are going to be? Why go through the trouble? Could anyone at NTN explain for us common folk?

I was thinking the same thing. What's the point in publishing them if you can't find the manpower to set the game up properly? I think 1990s Artists is the only one that has been correct in 2021.

2021 British Artists, Rock & Roll HOF and the 90s did play as scheduled. Pretty bad showing so far.

It would seem someone scheduled in the Valentines Heart theme headliner this past Sat on purpose. So why was Buffet not played. I can only guess someone thought Valentines was more appropriate and didn’t change the listed schedule. I’ll guess the schedule won’t be updated with new headliners. I really don’t think anyone at BT knows if topix or Playback play as listed or not. Just not enough people to keep track of it.

Nothing was listed for last night’s Playback, the schedule ended last week.

It was Cher, right in Opiee and Freezer’s area. I split my boxes to the win. There were a bunch of early 2000s questions written with “the recent or upcoming” wording that were 16+ years ago. The recycling continues. The Trisha Yearwood marriage one was particularly funny.

Also Stained Glass Pub was good for the bar win over Kalamazoo, Danny Ks, Time Out West, Slate St and Primetime.

Nothing listed for next week, back to the random game, maybe a repeat maybe not.
