They are not mutually exclusive.

I'll have to see what is going on. The only reason we may go out is because we have one of those "you bought a gift certificate so here is 5 bucks off of your 25 buck bill at BWW" certificates and it expires on Monday.

Thought this was a very well done game. I would have had quite a nice score if the bar we ended up at actually had enough boxes. I got to get two answers in then sit boxless the rest of the time.

That's, I believe, my sixth time in a row at Bungalow Joes not able to get a working box, so I'm pretty much done there.

This is quickly becoming buzztimes biggest problem.

Everywhere I go the number of broken boxes or very weak battery boxes is getting out of hand. I make sure to hand the bad boxes to our GM at Hardtimes and the frequency of that has doubled or tripled over the last 6 months. Even so we still have a few bad ones.

Other bars that don't stay on top of sending bad boxes back are having a serious problem that is getting worse by the week.
As we know 98% of managers don't give a damn about sending back boxes so it's up to the players to urge the managers to do so.
Just hand them the bad boxes and tell them it's free to return them, give them the phone number to call to arrange it. (1-800-745-4686) No big deal, you just have to be persistent and yes you do have to do their job for them sometimes.

In the past boxes would last at least a year at Hardtimes now we're lucky to get 5 months. Yes I'm tracking which boxes are going back.

This lower and lower box quality is hurting the player experience and needs to be addressed quickly. BT, please don't tell us to use smart phones that just is not a viable option for most players and the speed is not yet fast enough.

Last night, two of us tried using the Android app. We both were unable to answer the same questions. It would freeze at the end of question 2, for instance, then allow you to answer for about 300 points on question 4. I eventually gave up. Again, the same thing happened on two separate phones.

Well, having finally gotten an iPhone... Image

This Tuesday, barring unforeseen circumstances, I'll try using it in place of a Playmaker. FWIW, the Buzztime Mobile Playmaker app was the second one downloaded, and the first one used.

It was one of those nights where nothing went right. In Triviaoke, if my wife guessed "A" and I went with her, we were wrong. If she guessed "A" and I didn't go with her, she was right. My daughter in law, who very rarely plays because she admits that she isn't very good was unconscious in one round (I can't remember which one). My stepson started singing "Dream On" but didn't get to the right lyric in time for the rest of us to figure out what he was talking about until it was too late. However, he didn't even wager because he was talking to a buddy of his. In the # Sand round, the first question (the one about AC/DC) I was looking for a different AC/DC song ("It's a Long Way To the Top (If You Wanna Rock and Roll)), and should have figured that Buzztime would pull the crap of only listing ONE AC/DC song. I hate when they do that! :x
