It is a boys' night...

Beach Boys
Beastie Boys
Backstreet Boys

As much as I like and know about the Beach Boys, I have to invoke the 33% rule because I know absolutely nothing about the Beasties or Backstreets.

Funny no one (including me) comment on this week's Playback before tonight.

Well It's the Beasties as the Headliner.

I got the Encore question right but I forgot my recorder so I can't really say what were the choices for the answer.

I recorded it but on my little MP3 player as I'd forgotten my micro recorder. It just will take longer to translate.

I guessed the right answer. I have the album but looked at the credits on the CD. No list of the samples they used but I did appreciate the lyrics printed out very small. My guess for Paul's Boutique was because that album had hundreds of uncredited samples (when the sampling laws weren't settled).

Something like "Which Beasties Boys album samples the Ramones on "High Plains Drifter".

I was thinking that must have been a Ramones song. Simple question would have been the logic....High Plains Drifter on which Beastie Boys album (which wouldn't have helped me). so my lucky logic---the chances for the most samples are on this album..

I thought I could have faked my way through the Beasties, but based on Robin's recap, I would have gotten 2, possibly 3 correct.
