After that beat down SD gave us, we barely had the energy to play BB. So much so that a couple of players actually left beforehand.

SD just takes a toll, and afterwards you just want to run home or cool down with Speed. You certainly don't want to play BB after. I love both games, and had not thought about this letdown happening, but it just further proves how silly it is to have BB after SD.

And I absolutely love the fact that actual trivia threads are pushing the worthless crap way down the page.

The number of BB players decreased from last week's 6280 to this week's 4328. West feed BB payers were only 686.

Unfortunately, it is times like this and the 8/8/8 that this sites gets the most posts. But still, I guess that is one of the things it is here for.

8/4/8

I think that correcting folks on this date is what's finally going to get me over the top. So, the Guinness people should be calling any day now...

No energy left to play trivia?
What the...?!?
Do you guys do push-ups for every point like some of the college mascots?
I should do that for my next game.
Are there any Topix games on crap I know nothing about like the flugelhorn or something coming up?
Oh crap! Chuck Mangione... I'm a dead man...

My brother turned 35!

Like Bo said, we were done for after Showdown. Usually by 8pm PST only DOMINO is still holding up the bar. Putting Brainbuster after Showdown is like going to the gym, doing deadlifts, and then expecting to go on a half-hour run and do some crunches afterwards. You can do it, but you'd really just rather lie on a couch somewhere, you know?

Apparently SPOTES would indeed go on the half-hour run and then the crunches. You know, I'd pay a lot of money to watch SPOTES go through that workout. :o

I'll go ahead and add you to the list of people that obviously want to see me die a horrible death.
I'm going to need to rent out the old Pontiac Silverdome at this rate.

Please don't invite me for the actual event. I would, however, be interested in the HD version. I prefer to kick back in my Lazyboy with 5.1 Dolby for quality entertainment. 8-)
