We were doing pretty well through the first ten, but the last five kicked our collective asses. Congrats to Stadium on the win. |

Thanks. Was curious to know what others thought of that last question counting the vowels in the answer choices. Although we all got above 800 on it, it's in no way a trivia question. More of a puzzle question. Personally, I enjoy questions like that, but it's not pure trivia. BB seems to throw one of those in on occasion. |

In those five words, you have a total of nine vowels. Thus, the correct choice is NINE. You just had to count them as quickly as possible, making it impossible, as far as I can tell, to get a full 1000 points for the answer. |

I have said for years that trivia is a game of quick recall, not calculation, so I don't care for it. (I get stronger against calculation as inverse relationship to sobriety). |

I actually counted the vowels quickly enough to hit nine for 1000 points, then re-counted eight and changed my answer. To the mirth of all those who were playing/watching at the bar. Doh. |
