I was drafting a message yesterday, but had to run and now I lost it.

Here's the important thing: congratulations to Danny K's on behalf of Teasers on the Dingo win. Four weeks or five, they are #1!

Anon made a brief reference to Tuesday: "in more ways than one, it was not (Teasers) night". Au contraire. Any night where the usual gang of meanderers can show up and play two one on ones for national championships and put up top five finishes is worth getting off the couch. Congratulations to both Danny's and Kent, we were beat by worthies. The team did not take it hard, with short attention spans and drinking to do. To use the metaphor from another hobby, we will be on the first tee again on Tuesday at 7 CDT.

Thanks for the historical data Anon. I had not realized (short attention span again) that I had been on three 2's and a 3 over the five years. I am actually acquainted with Marv Levy in normal life. He would be proud.

Not too far away from Danny K's is Pineapple Hill. Whereas Danny K's came in first and isn't surprising as they have a lot of brain power, Pineapple Hill came in dead last. :lol: That isn't much of a surprise either, but will not keep us from trying again. We do try to compete, but concentrate more on having fun.

The Tailgate has more players than playmakers, and I wish to thank Danny K's and Teasers, et alia, for rendering my error of omission, in not broadcasting the Dingo Tournament, moot. The last thing my house needs is a feeding frenzy over our spare equipment.
