15 Questions, 1000 Points each, Points decrease rapidly with time and 3 Clues:

Q1-Q10: We at Buster's Bar, Ottawa ON had to move to a different table tonight, and I forgot to start the camcorder for the first 10 Questions. Therefore I am making up the wording from one- or two-word written notes I made for each Question. I got all of the 15 Questions right, except for Q2 which we all botched, so the wording for this one Question is incomplete. Perhaps one or more of the Players from Tailgate, Mad River, or Stained Glass, who scored more than 14,500 Points (out of 15,000 total) can post the correct wording (and Choices) for Q2 in a Comment below.

Answers:

1. Samurai [Chris (CEEZED, KAYZED) pre-called this one; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samurai and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bushido ]

2. Mad Hatter [We pre-called "White Rabbit" because a watch was mentioned in the Question, but it was not one of the 5 Choices listed, so we went with "March Hare". See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/White_Rabbit . We need someone who remembers or recorded the Question to clarify this.]

3. Nicaragua [I (REACH, LESTER) called this one; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Violetta_Chamorro ]

4. The Bell Curve [I called this as a guess; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Bell_Curve ]

5. Michael Bolton [I split my votes, guessing right on this one as REACH; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How_Am_I_ ... ithout_You , and for a performance, see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ze0iTfibKpw .]

6. Great Britain [I pre-called "Wales" from the spelling of Gwynedd, and had to recognize this as "Great Britain" since "Wales" was not one of the Choices. Welsh descendant Myfanwy (SPRAJO) backed me up on this Choice. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gwynedd .]

7. Jack London [I guessed this from the year "1908" since the other Choices were writers from different eras; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Iron_Heel ]

8. Carousel [I guessed this right as REACH; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carousel_(musical) ]

9. Louis XIV [I pre-called this one; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louis_XIV_of_France ]

14. Billy Budd [I pre-called this one, backed up by Myfanwy; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billy_Budd_(opera) ]

Well, hell. IIRC, Q2 asked for the Alice in Wonderland character that wore a watch that showed the day, but not the time. :o However, the customary Buzztime reference does not appear to confirm that.

From Chapter 7: A Mad Tea Party

Alice had been looking over his [the March Hare's] shoulder with some curiosity. "What a funny watch!" she remarked. "It tells the day of the month, but it doesn't tell what o'clock it is!"

The watch belongs to the Hatter, who complained that the watch hadn't been working properly since the March Hare had greased its works with the very best butter. The Hare inspected his handiwork, and then dipped the watch in his tea. That didn't help either, apparently.
