Yesterday afternoon, during the Belgium-US World Cup match, the leaderboard showed some player named YOYO posting five perfect 15k Countdowns sandwiched around a 14,939. Never noticed this handle before so I looked him up this morning: http://www.buzztime.com/profile?pid=208337&tn=recent Looks like he was playing mostly alone and his historical scores would indicate that just one perfect game would be quite an accomplishment for him. It also doesn't appear that he played during the same stretch on the previous Tuesday so maybe he wasn't seeing repeats. Maybe he just got real good? |

I would say repeat games. If you look at his profile he has no gold medals, but all of those perfect scores. Gold medals are not rewarded for repeat games last I checked. Repeat games are random. A few weeks back there was a slew of LTT games that were aired a few days earlier. Someone at BT got lazy. |

I suspect they had to be repeats but if you look at his game history, he has never played more than four Countdown games in a row in the last six months. Yesterday he played seven great games in a row. I don't know when he would have seen those games before. Nobody else was scoring like him and there were a lot of players that play a lot more than he does. |
