If I wanted to answer Bible fucking questions every day...I'd go to CHURCH!!!

I get it, insert Badge Hunter q's, but I'm about done with this shit, meaning BT.

The bible questions won't last. Eventually the Buzzies will get round to loading everybody up with Mazel Tov, Salam, and Zen Master badges. Better get qu'raqing on your Qu'ran, bruddah

I'll gladly trade your bible questions for my stack of reality tv ones.

Exactly how many questions about fucking in the Bible has BT been asking?
Is this the new Silent Majority version of Nightside trivia?

BTW, played three hours on Sunday without so much as one Bible question.
"Whatchu talking 'bout Willis!?!"

TIEFLY might agree with me that the King James Version is far and away the worst production of Golden Age English literature currently published, in which case there'd be two of us. Echoing SPOTES, I haven't seen the questions. Are they asking for Biblical stories, or are they quoting chapter and verse? The latter would be dirty pool.

Requesting familiarity with the most famous Biblical stories is totally fair game. Religion is too significant a part of history and experience to be discounted from general knowledge. And yes, you should know something about the Qu'ran and the Mahabharata, and that Basho means Banana Tree in Japanese. At least, I should know that stuff, and when I fail I can't blame the content crew.

There are a handful of known symptoms among overexposed Countdown players, rather like Ishmael's symptoms in the first paragraph of Moby Dick. I'm playing maybe 400 CD's per 6 months, which is way too many, and there are times when every other question strikes me as a personal affront. Like TIEFLY, I threaten to stop playing, but Countdown dovetails too nicely with the talents for which I'm locally famous: drinking, and staring blankly into space.
