Glory Days came up at Concert Pub at 6:30 cst today. Who else got this game?

Yep us too.

Seemed like s lot of decent individual scores and a reasonable but subpar list of location scores so my guess is widespread but not universal issue.

Funnily enough I got my best non-team GD score ever on it. No great shakes obviously for many people, but GD is not my game by any stretch.

Arizona was left out on this one, or at least RTO's was. We had the normal CD game. We still have the blue boxes, maybe it was tablet locations?

Well, hell. Nothing on the Glory Daze page on the website that shows what smells like an inexplicable encore showing on Saturdays. :roll:

EDIT - Also, nothing showing on the Saturday schedule. :(

Don't like the current version of Playback so I avoid playing Saturday night and I would like to play Saturday night as I did for many years. If I could count on Glory Daze I would give it a tumble. Move Tuned In Trivia back to Saturday and bring back Jukebox and Retrospective and I would be there for sure.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I seem to recall that Glory Daze (not "Days") used to be on a Saturday or Sunday. This was about in 2000 or in the early-2000's.

I thought Glory Daze had been an hour-long game played midweek, either Wednesday or Thursday.

I remember it being on Sundays, but not for too long. This was prior to 1998, I played it about 1/2 dozen times. It had to be prior to 1998 since I remember playing it at CB Potts, Cheyenne, WY and I moved to Colorado in 1998.

Yes, for a little while they put it on Wednesday some split schedule with SIX, GLORY DAZE, and PASSPORT. Can't remember the order, but definitely a Wednesday. Before that it was a split on Tuesdays, and not split (FPMOJO btw, that cheating fucker), then sometime between 1995-97 it started out on Sundays.

When I started playing on Halloween 2000 - Glory Dazes was an hour long game on Tuesday's followed by Brain Buster then Showdown for a solid three hours of premium play. Oh the good old dazes.

now it's showing up on Thursday as the default game too. Why the hell do they keep pushing this crap on us now? At least it allowed me to kill it in time to get a real game instead this time.

Of course given their usual predilection, if they're trying to satisfy the stupid desire for "variety" in games, the biggest database of questions they have is 60s to 80s pop culture dreck so I suppose it makes sense, or Buzztime "sense", in that way.

10 questions in and it looks like the replacement countdown is a whole lot like glory days anyway....
